As a Therapist in our Behavioral Health department, you'll provide high-quality psychotherapy to clients with identified behavioral health needs. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our clients receive compassionate and effective care.

Position Summary:
To provide high quality psychotherapy to clients with identified behavioral health needs
Key Responsibilities
Screen new clients to identify presenting problems and address urgent issues.
Administer psychosocial assessments with care and precision.
Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients of all ages.
Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to develop client-centered interventions.
Re-assess clients and update treatment plans as needed.
Work a full-time flexible schedule, including evenings and some weekends.
Meet with a clinical supervisor monthly to review client cases.
Document all client encounters and activities within three working days.
Perform billing activities following agency procedures.
Participate in required meetings and training sessions.
Advise patients on health and illness prevention, including family planning services.
Stay informed about the latest therapeutic techniques and research.
Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to team success.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a master's degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences
Must have "full" Texas licensure (LCSW, LPC and/or LMFT) and be in good standing with their credentialing board
Must maintain first aid / CPR certifications
Must have a minimum of 2 years paid work experience providing psychotherapy
A therapist who has a Ph.D. in his/her specialty will be honored the CME/CEU stipend amount equivalent to the doctorate level, per policy
Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
