Purpose of the Role

As an Affiliate EAP Counsellor, you will serve as a vital clinical partner within our network, providing high-quality mental health support to corporate employees across various modalities. You will operate within a structured framework that prioritizes clinical integrity, timely documentation, and excellence in short-term, solution-focused therapy to deliver a premium care experience.

 Working Hours and Flexibility

  • Engagement Type: Affiliate / Network Partner.

  • Modality & Setup: Flexible, multi-modal delivery based on case allocation.

  • Location Requirement: Preferred to have a dedicated physical office or clinic space in the city of application to support in-person counseling alongside virtual/telephonic sessions.

Core Responsibilities

1. Clinical Care Delivery

  • Multi-Modal Therapy: Deliver high-quality counselling via Face-to-Face (in-person), Virtual (on-camera), and Telephonic modalities.

  • Solution-Focused Interventions: Apply evidence-based practices tailored specifically to workplace wellness and employee care timelines.

2. Documentation & Compliance

  • 24-Hour Mandate: Commit to Lyra’s strict 24-hour documentation compliance policy. All case notes must be completed within this timeframe to ensure seamless case management and accurate remuneration tracking.

  • Quality Standards: Maintain rigorous clinical notes that meet global quality standards and audit protocols.

3. Case Authorization & Protocol Adherence

  • Verification System: Ensure all client interactions are formally verified via Lyra’s official notice system. In the absence of a formal notification from Lyra Health, treatment cannot be initiated under the EAP umbrella.

  • Safety First: Actively identify high-risk cases, crises, or clinical "red flags," and strictly follow Lyra’s established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for emergency handling.

4. Ethical Boundaries & Governance

  • Financial Integrity: Adhere to Lyra's direct-transaction policy. All fees are handled centrally, and any direct billing or transaction with the employee is strictly prohibited.

  • Non-Solicitation: Maintain total transparency and respect professional boundaries by adhering to a strict non-solicitation policy to safeguard the integrity of the EAP ecosystem.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree or higher in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, MPhil, or PhD.

  • Certification: A valid professional license or registration to practice counseling in India.

  • Experience Level: A minimum of two (2) years of post-qualification clinical experience following the completion of your Master’s degree.

  • Specialized Background: Prior experience as an EAP service provider is highly preferred, alongside a profound understanding of short-term, solution-focused therapeutic models.

Key Areas of Clinical Expertise

We are seeking professionals with proven, demonstrable expertise in, but not limited to:

  • EAP Services & Workplace Wellness

  • Stress Management & Occupational Burnout

  • Relationship & Interpersonal Issues

  • Grief and Bereavement Counselling

  • Family/Play Therapy (or specialized creative interventions)

About You

  • Clinical Excellence: Exceptional clinical skills with a deep commitment to evidence-based practices and clinical integrity.

  • Administrative Discipline: Highly organized with the professional discipline needed to meet strict administrative and documentation deadlines.

  • Communicator: Adaptive verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish quick, strong therapeutic alliances across multiple modalities.

  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail in maintaining strict confidentiality, record-keeping, and adhering to compliance procedures.

  • Collaborative: A strong network partner who aligns with internal operations and clinical oversight teams to achieve the highest care outcomes.

Miscellaneous

  • Upholding Lyra Values: Act as a brand ambassador by consistently demonstrating Lyra’s core values of clinical excellence, innovation, and empathy in all client interactions.

  • Task Ownership: Ensure high precision in all clinical and administrative tasks within agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Network Collaboration: Participate in the global standard of care, helping corporate employees navigate personal and professional challenges in a structured and supported environment.
