Red River Hospital is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Assistant to join our care team. In this role, you will help plan and facilitate therapeutic recreational activities that support our patients’ treatment, engagement, and overall well-being in a safe and encouraging environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with individuals, promoting participation, and contributing to a positive patient experience.
This is a part time, day shift position (20 hours per week) with rotating weekend coverage.

For over four decades the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma have looked to Red River Hospital for treatment of behavioral health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. Children, teens, adults, and seniors are all accepted into the multiple inpatient and outpatient program offered at the hospital. Red River Hospital is also the home of the Military Heroes Unit, which provides inpatient services to all branches of the military, both active duty and retired, for PTSD, major depression, generalized anxiety, sexual trauma, psychosis, dual diagnosis including chemical dependency, survival guilt, and maladjustment to military lifestyle to name a few.
