Job Description Summary:
Provides direct pastoral care and spiritual support to patients, family members/significant others and staff throughout the hospital. Usually this involves development of a "parish" within the hospital. Shares in other activities such as invocations at operating unit functions upon request of management, crisis intervention, 24/7 on-call responsibilities, providing hospital-wide worship experiences, and representing OhioHealth Mission & Ministry throughout the community.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)Knowledge of pastoral care skills, especially as practiced within the hospital setting and in crisis situations. Three years ministry Experience . Comfortable in providing inclusive ministry in a broadly ecumenical and interfaith setting.
