The Cohort Manager serves as a representative for their graduating class, fostering community and increasing student engagement within the IAP Scholars Program. They are responsible for planning monthly cohort events and communicating peer feedback to the Advisory Council.
Applicants must be current IAP Scholars in good academic standing with a minimum 2.75 GPA. Candidates must be enrolled on the Ithaca College main campus for the full academic year and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Position Summary/Overview
The IAP Scholars Cohort Manager serves as the primary representative and advocate for their graduating class within the Ithaca Achievement Program Scholars Program. Cohort Managers are responsible for fostering community, increasing engagement, planning meaningful cohort experiences, and communicating the needs, concerns, and ideas of their peers to the Unity Center and IAP Scholars Advisory Council. This position provides students with a unique opportunity to develop leadership, event planning, communication, and advocacy skills while supporting the success and well-being of their cohort.
