The Senior Case Manager oversees case management staff, provides clinical mentorship, and ensures the delivery of high-quality, recovery-based services to individuals with mental illness or emotional disturbances. They are responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, facilitating person-centered planning, and managing crisis interventions within the community.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a human services field and possess at least two years of case management experience with adults. Additionally, applicants must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) and hold a valid Michigan driver's license.

The Senior Case Manager assigns duties to case management staff and manages their work product pertaining to performing tasks related to their caseload assignments. The Senior Manager uses his/her technical skills and knowledge to analyze and recommends strategies for work performance improvement. A senior case manager also directly provides comprehensive case management services for adults with serious mental illness or children/adolescents with emotional disturbances (and their families) to improve quality of life and maintain the highest possible ability to recover and function within the community. This position promotes recovery-based, person-centered, and culturally competent practices. This position requires working in the community and performing home visits.
