A high school diploma is required, though an associate degree is preferred, along with at least two years of experience serving families. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and demonstrate sensitivity to diverse cultural and socioeconomic needs.
LSF is seeking a talented Family Specialist who wants to make an impact in the lives of others.
The Family Specialist is responsible for providing Center orientation to new families and providing direct assistance to families that require additional support in completing applications or referral consents. The position will assist in the implementation and facilitation of family support programming and facilitating center-driven programming and events.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.
A minimum of two years’ experience in serving families.
The Family Specialist will be knowledgeable in community resources to provide assistance in implementing strength-based family programming and facilitating center-driven programming or events.
LSF offers 60 programs across the state of Florida serving a wide range of populations in need. Mission Driven staff members become part of the LSF community while transforming the lives of those in need.
