LSF is seeking a talented Program Director who wants to make an impact in the lives of others.
The Program Director can expect to serve clients in Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties.
Purpose and Impact:
The Program Director will provide oversight and coordination of a continuum of care to ensure holistic, culturally competent services for LSF clients. This position acts as a liaison between all relevant stakeholders in the local system of care/service area. This position ensures the effectiveness and quality of services through supportive program management, monitoring, data management, trend analysis and evaluation, training, and technical assistance. This position involves close collaboration with the Regional Program Director to identify trends, opportunities to enhance program services, training needs and implement recommendations for effective quality service delivery. The Program Director position may be distinguished by directing a clinical or 24-hour shelter program and requires appropriate licensure. The position also may be responsible for providing technical and/or special expertise to programs agency-wide. This is a non-direct care position.
Essential Functions:
Monitors the daily operation of assigned program functions.
Supervise program staff including regular individual and group staff meetings and case consultation; oversee proper client to staff ratio; provide daily, weekly and/or monthly clinical supervision to program staff as required by contract.
Assures assigned programs meet or exceed all licensing, quality assurance, and fiscal requirements promulgated by regulatory and compliance entities, such as the Office of Refugee Resettlement, Department of Children & Families, Department of Health, Council on Accreditation, and other such agencies.
Assign cases to program staff and oversee service delivery, to be performed according to, and within, the LSF mission, policy/statewide directive/procedural directions and treatment models.
Provide support with in-crisis or problem cases; provide on-going assistance to program staff in coordinating services for clients, including afterhours assistance, support and coverage as needed or scheduled.
Provide in-depth clinical, case coordination and/or supportive counseling services; individual, group and family therapy.
Provide in-depth clinical assessments, diagnosis of clinical conditions, treatment plans and intervention; review and approve eligibility certifications, assessments, treatment plans, etc. as submitted by program staff.
Lead or facilitate clinical training in evidence-based practices to network providers, as required by the program.
Ensures adequate staffing in assigned program areas.
Ensures staff are trained according to ORR, COA, DOH, DCF and all applicable rules and regulations.
Serves as programmatic liaison to regulatory and partner entities such as the Office of Refugee Resettlement, Department of Children & Families, Department of Juvenile Justice, schools, social service agencies, and juvenile courts to promote positive, cooperative relationships.
Oversees program development and growth.
Oversees preparation and monitoring of assigned program budgets.
Monitors assigned programs for contract compliance.
Networks with a wide variety of community organizations and funding sources.
Responds to both staff and clients to ameliorate any problems.
Assures that the statistical data and reports for assigned programs is collected, processed, and submitted to the appropriate agencies in a timely manner.
Manages salaries and performance in compliance with the agency’s compensation plan.
Manages program operation in accordance with assigned budgets.
Assists in planning, assigning, and approving of all programmatic events and trips.
Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Must be adaptable to irregular hours, be flexible to rotate on-call as needed, and be able to travel as required.

Accurate and timely submission of required statistical reports.

Position is required to carry an agency cell phone and participate in an on-call rotation.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human services field is required. Master’s degree in social work or an equivalent degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science degree is preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates with applicable program related certification(s)
If directing a clinical program, requires an appropriate State licensure in a Human Behavioral Science: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMST), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
Experience:
5-7 years of work experience in program management or in a related field (refugee services, migrant service, child welfare administration, child protective services).
If directing a clinical program, requires 5 years of experience leading a behavioral health program.
Skills:
Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, Excel)
Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be eligible to drive to facilitate program services as required by contractual agreement.
Required to work a flexible schedule to facilitate program services.
Knowledge of community resources and ability to connect families to community services.
Excellent clinical and crisis intervention skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Critical assessment and analysis skills
Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is program-specific and may be required by some programs. If not required by the program(s), bilingual is preferred.
