The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is the world’s largest anti-fraud organization and a global leader in anti-fraud training and certification. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our team as a CFE Exam Program Coordinator.
In this role, you will serve as a key contributor to the security, quality, and integrity of the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Exam program. Working closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders, you will monitor exam administration activities, investigate potential security breaches and candidate misconduct, analyze exam performance data for suspicious trends, and implement policies and procedures that uphold industry standards. Your work will help protect the credibility of the CFE credential while ensuring a fair, secure, and positive examination experience for candidates worldwide.
Essential Functions
Acts as the main liaison between the ACFE and its CFE Exam proctoring vendor, ensuring that all exam administration and proctoring activities are conducted smoothly, security protocols are followed, and any technical or procedural issues are addressed promptly. Responds to and investigates incidents that threaten the integrity of the CFE Exam, including those pertaining to potential candidate misconduct, proctoring issues, and exam disruptions. Conducts investigations into potential exam security breaches or instances of misconduct, which includes reviewing incident reports, audit logs, and video footage from proctoring sessions. Prepares written reports documenting exam integrity investigations, findings, and supporting evidence; reports investigation findings to management; and provides recommendations for preventive measures or process adjustments to mitigate future risks. Maintains records of security breaches, misconduct, and related incidents. Researches certification industry standards, emerging best practices, and legal requirements to contribute to the creation and enforcement of policies and procedures that uphold the integrity and security of the CFE credential program. Ensures that departmental manuals, guides, and other resources reflect the most current policies and procedures related to exam security and exam administration. Delivers clear, professional, and courteous written and verbal communication to candidates, staff, and other stakeholders while maintaining a positive rapport and professional attitude. Serves as a backup for the Exam Administration team in handling technical issues, exam eligibility activation, appointment scheduling, rescheduling, exam results, and retakes, as needed. Performs other duties as requested or required.

Knowledge of certification industry best practices and accreditation standards strongly preferred. Prior security or compliance-related experience a plus. Proven skills in problem solving, analyzing data, building reports, attending to detail, presenting findings, organizing work, managing time effectively, and handling multiple tasks in a timely manner. Skilled in collaborating with internal and external resources. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deescalate situations with a professional attitude, patience, and tact. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel), Salesforce, and Salesforce reporting.
