Oversee the monitoring of cooling infrastructure and performance, implementing improvements as necessary to meet capacity and environmental standards.
Act as the subject matter expert in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues that may impact data center operations, including HVAC malfunctions, cooling failures, and air quality problems.
Assist in performing root cause analysis on any mechanical failures and the effort to correct and mitigate future issues.
Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all mechanical systems, ensuring they are kept in optimal condition to avoid unplanned outages or failures.
Develop and implement predictive maintenance tools to monitor system health and schedule repairs or upgrades before failures occur.
Provide process and policy direction to ensure mechanical systems meet all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards, such as ASHRAE guidelines, local building codes, and OSHA safety requirements.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of mechanical equipment to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations and company policies.
Maintain detailed records of mechanical system performance, inspections, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Offer technical expertise and guidance in troubleshooting, system design, and operation of mechanical systems to site personnel as needed.

Strong understanding of energy management and efficiency practices for mechanical systems, with emphasis on CDU optimization in mission-critical environments.
Ability to lead projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement long-term solutions to mechanical challenges.
Familiarity with monitoring systems, predictive maintenance tools, building automation systems (BAS), and CDU diagnostic software.
