The Commercial Sales Specialist is responsible for qualifying and quoting commercial opportunities generated through the residential dealer network. They collaborate with Territory Managers and product specialists to grow revenue and strengthen dealer relationships.

The Commercial Sales Specialist is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sales while gaining hands-on experience in quoting, account support, and commercial opportunity development. In this role, you will work directly with Residential Inside Sales Representatives, Territory Managers, and cross-functional partners to help move opportunities forward, strengthen dealer relationships, and contribute to commercial sales growth.
This individual contributor role is ideal for a motivated professional who wants to develop core sales skills, own revenue-supporting work, and learn how commercial opportunities are qualified, quoted, and advanced. You will be responsible for helping grow commercial sales through qualified residential dealers, achieving goals tied to assigned accounts and inbound requests, and supporting sales leadership's strategies. Along the way, you will gain valuable exposure to inside sales, dealer engagement, market development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred. Requires at least 5 years related experience.Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time. Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Effective at written and verbal communication. Requires substantial industry and product knowledge. Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $71,200 to 93,450 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.
Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
