Full job description
At New York Pilates, we're looking for an exceptional Studio Representative to be the face of New York Pilates. This is more than a front desk role - it's an opportunity to create memorable first impressions, build lasting relationships, drive studio growth, and help create an experience that keeps students coming back.
If you love connecting with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are motivated by sales and exceptional service, we'd love to meet you.
Who You Are
You genuinely enjoy making people feel welcome.
You're the kind of person who remembers names, anticipates needs, and creates an experience that makes every student feel like a regular. You bring positive energy to every interaction, communicate with confidence, and know how to turn conversations into lasting relationships.
You're equally comfortable delivering exceptional hospitality and driving results. You enjoy helping people find the right membership, recommending products they'll love, following up with prospective students, and contributing to the studio's growth. You take ownership, stay organized, and always look for ways to make the studio run better than you found it.
Before You Apply
This role is probably a great fit if you:
Have 1+ year of customer-facing experience in sales, hospitality, retail, boutique fitness, or another service-focused environment.
Consistently meet or exceed sales or performance goals.
Love building relationships and creating memorable customer experiences.
Are organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
Communicate confidently and remain calm under pressure.
Enjoy working on your feet in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Can commit to at least 15 hours per week, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Are excited to immerse yourself in the New York Pilates brand by taking classes and becoming a product expert.
This role probably isn't the right fit if you:
Prefer behind-the-scenes work over interacting with people all day
Feel uncomfortable discussing memberships, sales, or making recommendations
Struggle in fast-paced environments where priorities change throughout the day
Prefer routine over variety and don't enjoy solving problems as they arise
Aren't excited about creating an exceptional experience for every student
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $18–$24/hour based on experience, plus monthly sales commission.
Benefits
Complimentary New York Pilates membership
Employee merchandise discounts
Credits toward our Online Instructor Training certification
Ongoing coaching, development, and opportunities for career growth
The opportunity to be part of one of the fastest-growing boutique fitness brands in the country
Ready to Apply?
We're looking for people who are excited to build relationships, grow with our team, and create an exceptional experience for every student who walks through our doors. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
