About Gartner C-level Communities
Gartner C-Level Communities brings together the world's most senior executives to connect, learn, and solve their most critical business challenges. Through invitation-only peer communities, curated experiences, and year-round engagement, we help CIOs, CISOs, CDAOs, CFOs, CHROs, and CSCOs build meaningful connections and drive greater business impact.
As Gartner C-Level Communities continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced marketing leader who can help shape how we engage C-Level audiences, drive community growth, and create meaningful commercial outcomes across North America.
About the Role
The Senior Manager, North America Campaign Marketing is a strategic marketing leader responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive engagement, community growth through lead generation, registrations, and participation across Gartner's C-Level executive communities.
This role will oversee campaign strategy for multiple executive audiences, likely supporting two role-based portfolios across CIO, CISO, CDAO, CFO, CHRO, CSCO, and broader CxO communities. The Senior Manager will serve as the primary marketing strategist for their assigned audiences, leveraging customer insights, campaign performance data, and market trends to develop impactful, executive-focused marketing programs.
This role goes beyond campaign management. We are looking for a true strategic marketer who thrives on understanding customer needs, translating insights into compelling messaging, and delivering integrated campaigns that influence engagement and business outcomes.
As a senior member of the team, you will also serve as a player-coach, helping elevate marketing excellence across the organization, mentoring Campaign Marketing Managers, improving processes, and continuously evolving our campaign tactics, channel mix, and go-to-market approach.
Executive Audience & Campaign Leadership
Own the annual tactical campaign strategy and integrated marketing roadmap for assigned executive communities and role-based portfolios.
Develop data-driven marketing strategies/tactics that drive community growth, executive engagement, registrations, participation, and retention.
Build audience-centric messaging and campaign frameworks tailored to the unique priorities of C-Level executives.
Partner with Community Program and Content teams to align marketing programs with member acquisition, engagement, and growth priorities.
Translate customer insights, behavioral data, market trends, and campaign performance into strategic recommendations that influence campaign direction, audience engagement, and growth opportunities.
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, digital, social, content, event promotion, and emerging channels.
Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Analytics, Content, Design, Digital Marketing, and Community teams to ensure flawless execution.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve campaign performance through segmentation, testing, personalization, and optimization. Demonstrate initiative by challenging assumptions and driving continuous improvement.
Analyze campaign results and make data-driven recommendations to improve engagement, registrations, net new leads and ROI.
Leadership & Team Development
Serve as a player-coach within the Campaign Marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and best practices to Campaign Marketing Managers while helping elevate marketing excellence across the team.
Help establish and evolve scalable campaign frameworks, workflows, and operational processes.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Share knowledge and elevate marketing capabilities across the broader team.
Strategic Business Impact
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Director, NA Campaign Marketing, providing insights, recommendations, and informed perspectives that support business growth, audience engagement, and organizational priorities.
Contribute to cross-portfolio and enterprise-level marketing initiatives that drive business growth across Gartner C-Level Communities.
Support larger-scale campaigns that span multiple executive roles, communities, or regions where business priorities are required.
Lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, content, community, analytics, and operations teams to drive alignment, remove obstacles, and achieve shared business objectives.
Develop and lead strategic workshops with content and community teams to foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and consistent execution at scale.
What You'll Need
6+ years of experience in B2B campaign marketing, integrated marketing, demand generation, growth marketing, or related disciplines.
Experience developing and executing audience-centric marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
Demonstrated success marketing to executive or senior-level business audiences.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and customer insights into actionable marketing strategies.
Experience managing complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns from strategy through execution and optimization.
Experience leveraging audience insights, segmentation, and customer journey strategies to drive measurable business outcomes.
Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience marketing to CIO, CISO, CFO, CHRO, CSCO, CDAO, or other executive audiences.
Background in subscription-based businesses, research organizations, professional services, membership organizations, or executive communities.
Experience working in a highly matrixed, fast-paced organization.
Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and campaign performance measurement tools.
Who You Are
A strategic marketer who starts with customer understanding and builds campaigns around audience needs.
A self-starter who demonstrates initiative, operates with a high degree of ownership, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve outcomes.
Curious, analytical, and driven by continuous improvement.
Equally comfortable developing strategy and executing in the details.
A collaborative leader who influences without authority and builds strong cross-functional relationships.
A creative thinker who challenges the status quo and seeks new ways to engage executive audiences.
Trusted by leaders and peers alike for sound judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
Passionate about delivering measurable business impact through marketing.
Someone who embodies a player-coach mentality and helps elevate those around them.
Why This Role Matters
This role sits at the heart of Gartner C-Level Communities' growth strategy.
You will directly influence how some of the world's most senior business and technology leaders discover, engage with, and experience Gartner's executive communities. Through strategic marketing leadership, customer-centric thinking, and innovative campaign execution, you will help accelerate growth, deepen executive engagement, and shape the future of one of Gartner's fastest-growing businesses.
If you're passionate about translating customer insights into meaningful marketing strategies and want to help build the next generation of executive community engagement, we'd love to hear from you.
