The Certification Engineer develops project-specific certification plans and produces substantiation data and test reports in accordance with FAA and ODA standards. They coordinate with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure aircraft projects maintain schedule, budget, and safety compliance.
A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific field is required, with a strong ability to apply the scientific method to certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Part 21 and Part 25 regulations are highly preferred.
The Certification Engineer will assist with the development of project specific certification plans; assist with testing; maintain certification data files; and assist with tracking progress to ensure certification projects maintain schedule and budget as well as adhere to FAA, customer, and ART ODA standards.
