The Logistics Coordinator manages purchasing needs for National Account work orders and coordinates with vendors, carriers, and internal teams. Key duties include preparing purchase orders, managing inventory levels, and coordinating freight quotes.
A high school diploma is required, while an associate or bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience are preferred. Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, and strong organizational skills are essential.
Job Summary The Logistics Coordinator will work in a collaborative environment to fulfill all purchasing needs for the National Account work orders and assist branches as needed. This includes interfacing with internal teams, such as the Proposal Team, as well as suppliers and freight companies. To succeed in this role, the Logistics Coordinator should be highly organized and able to perform multiple tasks for different accounts simultaneously.
