Product Apparel Developer
Location: Coppell, TX (Hybrid)

Are you a highly organized product development professional who thrives on turning concepts into market-ready apparel?
We're looking for an organized, collaborative Product Apparel Developer to own the product development process from concept through commercialization, serving as the central point of coordination between Design, Material Development, Technical Design, Sourcing, and vendors.
This is an exciting opportunity to bridge Design, Materials, and Technical Design at Superior Cloth & Stitch (SCS) — keeping projects on schedule, ensuring quality standards are met, and helping bring innovative apparel products to market.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate development activities between Design, Material Development, Technical Design, Sourcing, and vendors
- Manage sample requests, sample tracking, approvals, and vendor follow-up
- Maintain accurate product information and development milestones within the PLM system
- Partner with the Material Developer Lead to coordinate fabric, trim, color, and material approvals
- Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, and Sourcing to ensure products are developed on time and meet brand expectations
- Support Technical Design during fittings and product development as needed
- Support Design with presentation materials and product documentation as needed
- Assist with commercialization and production readiness
- Collaborate with Technical Design to ensure product quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel Product Development, Apparel Design, Merchandising, Textiles, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Product Development, Technical Design, Apparel Design, Merchandising, or a related apparel product creation role
- Strong understanding of apparel construction, fabrics, materials, fit, and manufacturing
- Experience with PLM systems
- Experience with fabric development is a plus
- Experience in CLO 3D is a plus
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience working with overseas factories and vendors
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency
- Microsoft Office proficiency
