By maintaining accurate documentation and reporting quality metrics, the technician supports continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with industry regulations. Ultimately, this role ensures the reliability, safety, and performance of cable products, contributing to customer satisfaction and company reputation.
The required skills enable the technician to accurately inspect and test cable products, ensuring they meet all quality and safety standards. Proficiency in reading technical drawings allows the technician to verify product specifications and identify discrepancies. Attention to detail is critical for detecting subtle defects that could impact product performance. Preferred skills such as familiarity with industry standards and root cause analysis enhance the technician's ability to contribute to process improvements and compliance efforts. Daily use of measuring instruments and quality software supports precise data collection and effective communication with production and engineering teams.
