The incumbent is responsible for smoothing and finishing poured concrete surfaces using various hand and power tools while ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. They must also maintain equipment, direct subgrade work, and collaborate with the team to ensure efficient delivery of concrete projects.
A minimum of one year of experience in concrete finishing, pier foundations, and steel forming systems is preferred. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED and be physically capable of performing demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, and kneeling.
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walkways, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. One will align forms for sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, patch voids, and use saws to cut expansion joints.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of one year of experience finishing concrete structures, pier foundations, steel forming systems, and pouring concrete is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The incumbent also:

The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.

This includes hard hat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.
This individual must also have the ability to identify critical issues and formulate action plans with all levels of management, including corporate and executive.
The incumbent must possess the ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance of the incident and as directed by the Safety Representative or other management personnel. Must be capable of evacuating the work area in a timely manner should an emergency situation arise.
