The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations while ensuring compliance with safety and food quality standards. Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Hillside, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA. Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including: shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel and receiving in finished goods, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. BS in related degree/program preferred.
Related Experience: Experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Equipment/Software Skills: Proficient use of internet, MS Office Word and Excel. Willingness and ability to become proficient in inventory management systems utilized by the company. Work also involves knowledge and accurate use of RF/scanning inventory systems.
Physical: This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights. Must be able to walk throughout the plant up to eight-plus (8+) hours at a time, to include walking and climbing up/down stairs and ladders (portable, fixed).
Sensory: Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
Mental/Reasoning: Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization.
