Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work rotating shifts in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and working in extreme heat.

We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.
Furnace Assistants will have the opportunity to start out making $23.08 and grow to $26.68 after 90 days with good attendance and performance.
Work only 15 days out of the month with 7 days off to have a good work life balance.
SIGN ON BONUS - $300 AFTER 90 DAYS
RETENTION BONUS - $600 AFTER 9 MONTHS
Hours: Rotating shift 7AM – 7PM and 7PM - 7AM. You will work BOTH Dayshift and Nightshift as part of your rotation.
Shift Rotation: 4 on, 3 off, 3 on, 1 off, 3 on, 3 off, 4 on, 7 off and the rotation starts over.
As our new Furnace Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in all furnace operations as required in a timely but safe manner to ensure smooth running operations and a productive shift.
This position requires a person willing to work in extreme temperatures, in an industrial manufacturing environment, and wearing protective equipment.
If you have manufacturing experience and are a safety-minded individual, then you could be a good candidate for this role.
