Full job description
Logitech is the Sweet Spot for people who want their actions to have a positive global impact while having the flexibility to do it in their own way.
The Role
The Sr. Demand Planner plays an important role in connecting internal teams and customer demand insights to build accurate, actionable demand plans. This role supports the business by analyzing demand trends, interpreting market and channel signals, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to improve forecast quality, inventory health, and service levels.
This position will support a product group and be responsible for managing the demand forecast at both Sell In and Sell Thru levels. The Demand Planner will contribute to the S&OP process and help drive category success from a supply chain perspective. You will work closely with Demand Planning leadership, regional category marketing, category finance, sales, and supply chain teams.
Your Contribution
Be Yourself. Be Open. Stay Hungry and Humble. Collaborate. Challenge. Decide and Just Do. These are the behaviors you’ll need for success at Logitech. In this role, you will:
Support the demand planning strategy for your assigned product group in alignment with business and financial goals for the North America region.
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to gather inputs and improve forecast quality.
Analyze demand signals, channel data, replenishment trends, and historical performance to develop product-level demand plans for up to 18 months.
Prepare demand plan updates, scenario analyses, performance summaries, inventory insights, and risk and opportunity assessments for monthly S&OP and business review meetings.
Build and maintain SKU-level demand forecasts for assigned product lines using analytical, statistical, and system-based planning tools.
Monitor inventory levels and work with relevant teams to help mitigate supply shortages, excess inventory, and aging stock risks.
Provide regular and ad hoc performance reporting with clear root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly demand planning cycles and help drive alignment across key business partners.
Coordinate product lifecycle transitions, including New Product Introductions (NPI) and End-of-Life (EOL) planning, to support supply continuity and healthy inventory levels.
Track key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, bias, inventory turns, forecast value add, and service levels to identify opportunities for improvement.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of demand planning tools and processes to enhance forecast quality and team efficiency.
Ensure planning activities align with global processes and support continuous improvement initiatives across systems, tools, and ways of working.
Support onboarding and mentoring of new joiners, and help train team members on new tools, processes, and demand planning best practices to strengthen team capability and consistency.
Key Qualifications
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field.
Approximately 7-10 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, business analytics, or a related function.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Experience with forecasting, planning, and reporting tools such as MS Excel, VBA, SQL, Tableau, or similar data visualization and analytics tools.
Planning system experience such as SAP, Kinaxis, or similar platforms is an advantage.
Familiarity with statistical forecasting methods and an interest in applying advanced analytics and AI-enabled planning tools.
Experience in consumer electronics, FMCG, or CPG environments is an advantage.
Working knowledge of S&OP or integrated business planning processes.
Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in situations with incomplete or changing information.
North America market, customer, and channel knowledge is preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
High sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented, with a strong team-first approach.
Compensation:
This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 119,000 and $ 160,000.
