Develop and manage comprehensive safety programs and policies across multiple facilities to ensure a zero-incident work environment. Lead incident investigations, conduct safety audits, and maintain accurate OSHA recordkeeping and reporting.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field and 5-8 years of safety management experience in food or industrial manufacturing. OSHA 30-hour certification is required, while CSP or ASP certifications are strongly preferred.
Job Summary
The Safety Manager reports to the Director, Operations within Crown Bakeries. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs across assigned Crown Bakeries facilities to ensure a safe, compliant, and zero-incident work environment. The Safety Manager partners with plant leadership, operations teams, and Human Resources to embed a proactive safety culture throughout the organization and ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in protecting the health and well-being of all Crown Bakeries employees and driving continuous improvement in safety performance across the enterprise.
