Lead the day-to-day operations of Community Safety services, including Ranger and 24/7 Community Patrol services. Drive an intelligence-led operating model to address community safety risks and build strong partnerships with external agencies.
Requires extensive leadership experience in operational community safety or policing environments and strong knowledge of relevant legislation. A postgraduate degree in business or leadership management, or equivalent tertiary qualifications and experience, is essential.

This is a leadership opportunity to lead a frontline Community Safety operations team, including Ranger and a 24/7 Community Patrol Service, with a focus on driving a contemporary, intelligence-led approach to service delivery. In this role, you will influence how the City responds to community needs, build strong partnerships across the organisation and with external agencies, and lead a capable team committed to making a real difference every day.

This is an opportunity to lead a progressive and contemporary service, highly valued by our community and Council, with delivering positive community safety outcomes the aim. You will oversee and be responsible for the operational leadership of Community Safety services, guide and mentor field-based leaders and their teams to perform at their best whilst responding to changing demands across the City. It is a role with genuine impact, broad stakeholder engagement, and the chance to influence the community in a positive way.
Post Graduate qualifications in business or leadership management, or substantive equivalent work experience and tertiary qualifications is essential.
