Support the CFO in end-to-end fund raising across debt and equity instruments for real estate and infrastructure businesses. Lead financial strategy, budgeting, and project analytics while managing relationships with external financial stakeholders.
The role requires extensive expertise in structuring corporate and project-level financing and developing complex financial models. Candidates must be capable of managing high-level interactions with banks, rating agencies, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fund Raising – Real Estate
Support end-to-end fund raising across debt and equity instruments for infrastructure and real estate businesses, including:
Commercial Paper (CP)
Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs)
Project finance, construction finance, lease rental discounting (LRD)
Term loans, working capital facilities, structured instruments
Assist in structuring corporate-level and project-level financing, including SPV-based funding structures.
Support negotiations with banks, NBFCs, mutual funds, insurance companies, and financial institutions.
Coordinate transaction execution including documentation, security creation, escrow structures, and covenant frameworks.
Track refinancing and restructuring opportunities to optimize cost of funds.
2. Financial Strategy, FP&A & Project Analytics
Support CFO in financial strategy formulation, capital structure planning, and long-term financial planning.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning at consolidated and project/SPV levels.
Develop and maintain robust project financial models, including IRR, NPV, DSCR, break-even, and sensitivity analysis.
Monitor project performance, funding adequacy, construction cash flows, and returns.
Support evaluation of new projects, bids, and strategic initiatives from a financial perspective.
3. CFO Office & External Stakeholder Management
Act as a key support to the CFO in interactions with external stakeholders, including:
Banks and lenders
Rating agencies (for CP, NCD, and project ratings)
Trustees, debenture holders, and monitoring agencies
Prepare high-quality presentations, rating notes, information packs, board decks, and lender review materials.
Support credit rating processes, periodic surveillance, lender audits, and due diligence exercises.
Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent financial communication.
4. Ad-hoc Strategic Projects & CFO Support
Work closely with the CFO on ad-hoc strategic, financial, and transformational initiatives, including:
Business and portfolio reviews
Restructuring, refinancing, and deleveraging exercises
Asset monetization and capital recycling initiatives
Evaluation of inorganic opportunities and strategic partnerships
Support special management reviews, scenario planning, and deep-dive financial analyses.
Assist in strengthening MIS, dashboards, and decision-support analytics for senior management.
