About the job:
In the AI era, user expectations and competition have risen significantly. Our users expect Search to be able to answer anything, and enable them to explore anything, and address anything, effortlessly. To meet these expectations, our models need the world’s best content.
Search Content Platform's mission is to evolve to an AI-first content platform and deliver the world's most comprehensive and trustworthy knowledge source that is easy to onboard and consume. We will drive the following outcomes: AI Mode (AIM), AI Overviews (AIO), and Gemini deliver step-function gains in helpfulness, factuality, and speed, backed by an industry-leading knowledge base. Key domains (sports, local, finance, shopping, education) provide specialized, differentiated value via rapidly expanded domain content. Lens, Discover, and Ember drive Gloyo engagement with immersive experiences powered by visual and UGC understanding. AIM and AIO execute complex, multi-step workflows using a dynamic ecosystem of first-party (1P) and MCP-based third-party (3P) agentic tools. Rapid content onboarding and consumption accelerates the co-development of bespoke user experiences.
As a Program Manager in the Search Content Platform (SCP) organization, you will be responsible for driving the strategic execution of programs that power Google's AI-first content capabilities. You will join a team of program managers and partner closely with Senior Engineering and Product leaders to define multi-quarter roadmaps, accelerate content lifecycle velocity, and optimize platform efficiency.
In this role, you will navigate complex cross-organizational dependencies, advocate agile operating models, and foster a culture of operational excellence and collaboration across Search and partner areas.
In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere. To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on. In joining the Search team, you'll have an opportunity to make an impact on billions of people globally.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Drive multi-quarter, AI-first platform programs to advance long-term Search velocity, helpfulness, quality, and compute efficiency.
Define 30/60/90-day rolling execution frameworks, track milestones and dependencies, and manage Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and risks across complex workstreams.
Apply technical judgment to resolve critical project blockers, resource limitations, and infrastructure trade-offs.
Build launch-tracking tools, operational playbooks, and AI-native best practices to accelerate feature development and content delivery.
Partner with global engineering, product, and Technical Program Manager (TPgM) leads to drive joint commitments, executive communications, and customer relationships.
