The superintendent manages day-to-day field operations, coordinating crafts and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project schedules and specifications. They also collaborate with project managers on job layout, budget reviews, and maintaining positive relationships with project owners.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED and four years of construction industry experience as a foreman or assistant superintendent. Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and knowledge of safety and quality regulations are essential.

Education / Experience – Minimum high school diploma/GED, and four years’ experience in the construction industry as foreman or assistant superintendent required. Four-year degree in engineering or construction management and four years’ experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – Effective verbal communication skills. Effective subcontractor coordination skills are a must. Excellent organizational skills. Must have a thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials and equipment. Working knowledge of safety regulations and quality guidelines. Demonstrated ability to understand and adhere to schedules. Proficient in interpreting construction drawings.
Travel – Extensive travel required. Must be able to travel national.
While the salary range is typically between $102,000 - $155,000 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process. Caddell honors prior experience, education, and qualifications of applicants in order to make attractive and competitive offers.
