Position SummaryAs the Maintenance Manager at Aspen Vacations, you’ll be responsible for the overall maintenance, functionality, and physical condition of our portfolio of luxury vacation rental properties. This is the company’s senior maintenance leadership role, overseeing the in-house maintenance team while also remaining hands-on in the field.
You will lead a team of three technicians, two full-time and one part-time, set daily priorities, coordinate vendors, and regularly perform maintenance work in the field. No two days are the same. You’ll work across a portfolio of distinct, high-end properties, each with its own systems, finishes, and character. The work ranges from quick guest-impacting fixes to preventative maintenance and property improvement projects, requiring the ability to assess issues, recommend improvements when needed, and determine whether work should be handled in-house or by specialty trades.
Maintenance is central to how Aspen Vacations operates. The condition of each property directly shapes the guest experience and homeowner trust, and your team works closely with housekeeping, guest services, and interior design. You’ll report directly to the owner and be responsible for ensuring each property is well cared for, fully functional, and maintained to the standards expected of a luxury rental portfolio.
Key ResponsibilitiesFull-time, typically Monday through Friday, with availability for occasional after-hours or weekends. During peak holiday periods, increased availability is expected.
