The Director provides leadership and oversight for Career Technical Education programs across all schools to ensure high-quality implementation and compliance. They are responsible for increasing industry credential attainment, developing workforce partnerships, and managing the Youthbuild Grant Program.
Candidates should ideally possess a Bachelor's degree in Education and state administrative licensure. A minimum of 5 years of educational leadership experience and deep knowledge of state CTE requirements are preferred.
Description
The Director of Career & Technical Education (CTE) provides leadership, oversight, and implementation support for Oakmont Education's Career Technical Education programs across all schools. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality program implementation, credential attainment, compliance, workforce alignment, and continuous improvement of CTE pathways.
The Director serves as the bridge between strategic CTE development and school-level execution, ensuring that programs are implemented with fidelity while supporting school leaders, instructors, and CTE staff.
Primary job duties and responsibilities:
Increase credential attainment, improve credential pass rates, maximize IWIP funding opportunities, expand work-based learning, and establish consistent implementation standards across all Oakmont schools.
