The Logistics Planner is responsible for creating and managing efficient daily delivery routes using SAP/TM to ensure cost-effective and timely shipments. They coordinate inbound and outbound movements, manage delivery paperwork, and interact with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and proficiency in Microsoft software, with a preference for a technical certificate or related experience. Essential competencies include strong mathematical skills, reasoning ability, and the capacity to handle logistical administrative functions.
Job Summary: Perform various transportation and logistical services of the network through the application of SAP/TM. Construct efficient and cost-effective daily routes of delivery trucks to ensure the prompt and on-time delivery of orders to our customer locations. The Logistics Planner provides support to our DCs relative to transportation and delivery requirements. Interact with internal and external customers and suppliers. Perform logistical, administrative, clerical, and support functions for the business unit. Perform additional duties as determined by the business unit manager.
