This role is central to supporting Betterment’s mission of making investing, saving, and retirement solutions accessible and effective for individuals and businesses. As Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in negotiating and managing the commercial agreements and corporate matters that underpin Betterment’s operations.
This position offers broad exposure to dealmaking and governance, including drafting and negotiating vendor, technology, and commercial agreements, and supporting corporate transactions such as M&A and securities matters. You will advise on a range of legal and strategic issues, partner with business teams on new initiatives, and help manage board and equity matters.
