The Cook is responsible for preparing, seasoning, and serving nutritious and balanced meals in accordance with federal and state regulations. Duties include managing food preparation, maintaining kitchen equipment, and supervising staff in the absence of the Executive Chef.
A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, along with previous experience in a senior care community dining department. Candidates should possess a Serve Safe certification and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

Meals prepared include meat, fish, fowl, vegetables, fruit, soups, salads, desserts, breads, and pastries, as specified and scheduled by the menus.
