Requires at least two years of recent bartending experience in a reputable establishment and must be at least 21 years of age. Proficiency in mixology and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are essential.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated bartending experience in a reputable establishment. Strong customer service skills, enabling effective interaction and connection with patrons. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail, prioritizing tasks, and delivering exceptional service even under pressure. Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of recent experience bartending in a reputable establishment, showcasing proficiency in creating a wide variety of cocktails and beverages.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers, take orders, and collaborate effectively with colleagues using English.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. Possession of relevant certifications, such as ServSafe Alcohol, TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures), or equivalent, is an added advantage.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: In-depth knowledge of mixology, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of various spirits, ingredients, and techniques.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion such as frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties involve working in a small, confined area with floors that may become slippery in the process of preparing beverages. Essential duties require lifting trays, which may contain food and/or drinks, and lifting up to 50 pounds to stack, store, or move kitchen, restaurant, or general office supplies and equipment. Essential duties involve a flexible workweek with additional hours routinely required.
