The Business Development Executive will lead commercial expansion across the West Coast by identifying and closing new business opportunities within academic, biopharma, and research sectors. Candidates must have 5-10+ years of experience in life science or genomics sales with a proven track record of closing high-value deals. A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences is required, with advanced degrees (MS, PhD, MBA) being preferred.

Our Headquarters are located on the Torrey Pines Mesa, in La Jolla, California at the center of the biotech hub. Our Manufacturing facility is in Sorrento Valley.As a Business Development Executive, you will lead commercial expansion across the West Coast territory of the United States, consisting of California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. This is a sales role focused on driving new customer acquisition, cultivating strategic accounts, and accelerating the adoption of Singular’s spatial multiomics service offerings.
Responsibilities:The estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $140,000 - $165,800. Additionally, this role is eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and may receive equity as part of the compensation package. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Should the level of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable salary range may be updated accordingly.
