The IV Technician is responsible for maintaining the sterile compounding room in accordance with USP 797 standards and preparing sterile preparations for long-term care residents. They also assist pharmacists with data entry, inventory management, and the maintenance of infusion pumps and emergency drug kits.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Washington Pharmacy Technician license. A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of IV pharmacy technician experience is required.
