The Health Care Aide provides direct resident care, including bathing, feeding, and assisting with mobility using mechanical aids. They work under the supervision of a Staff Nurse to implement care plans and ensure resident comfort and safety.
Candidates must hold a recognized Personal Care Aide or Health Care Aide certificate and maintain active registration with the CLHA. One year of experience in a continuing care environment is preferred, along with fluency in English.
