The primary purpose of the Field Application Scientist - Confocal position is to provide technical pre- and post-sales support for all confocal microscopy products. Support will be provided to Leica’s Life Science Research customers and Confocal Sales Specialists in all facets of their selling activities. The Field Applications Scientist will perform product demonstrations, troubleshooting and training sessions with end customers and sales reps. This role will also handle demonstration system logistics and confirm correct system functionality as well as perform successful product demonstrations to drive advanced widefield system sales.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, Northeast, this remote role is part of the Life Science Research division and covers Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York City, and Connecticut.

The salary range for this role is $85,000.00-95,000.00. This role is also eligible for Sales Incentive Compensation (SIP). The total target compensation at plan (base + SIP) is $125,000.00 – $135,000.00 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
