The Peer Specialist facilitates engagement and builds supportive relationships with participants to promote recovery and community integration. They also advocate for participants, co-create wellness tools, and contribute to a positive, recovery-oriented team culture.
Candidates must have two years of experience in mental health self-help or peer advocacy and possess the ability to disclose their personal recovery story. Peer certification is preferred, along with a strong understanding of community resources and the ability to handle crisis situations.
