The RN is responsible for the pre-operative care of patients in the Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center using an outcomes-based approach. This includes coordinating nursing care, supervising assistive personnel, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
Candidates must have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a MN RN license, and at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, specifically with surgical patients. BLS is required upon hire, with PALS certification required within 180 days.
Fairview has an immediate opening for a Peri-Anesthesia RN at the Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center located on the University of MN East Bank campus in Minneapolis, MN.This position is approved for 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period/two-week pay period). Clinic operating hours are 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The schedule includes one weekday off each week.
