Company Description
At Lubbock Small Animal Emergency Clinic, we are proud to serve Lubbock, TX, and surrounding areas. Our space is modern, clean, and cozy—big enough to move fast, but warm enough to feel like home. Our team is tight-knit and seriously fun to work with—a place where mentorship happens naturally, support runs deep, and growth is part of the everyday. If you’re looking for a place that works hard, laughs often, and never stops raising the bar in emergency care—you’ll fit right in.
At the heart of our clinic is a team that’s driven, supportive, and always ready for the next challenge. For us, it’s all about providing exceptional care, delivering gold-standard service with passion, precision, and a sense of fun.
We are seeking a compassionate and driven Emergency Associate Veterinarian to join our team. As an ER Veterinarian, you will play a key role in managing critical and urgent care cases, working alongside a committed and well-trained team of veterinary professionals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for emergency medicine and a dedication to providing the best care possible for our patients. However, experience in emergency care is not a requirement, as we provide strong mentorship and ongoing training for those eager to grow their skills in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Perform thorough physical exams, diagnostic tests, and imaging to assess the severity of patient conditions.
· Develop and implement treatment plans, including medical and surgical interventions as needed.
· Work collaboratively with the veterinary team and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for each patient.
· Communicate effectively with pet owners, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and recommendations in a compassionate and clear manner.
· Ensure proper documentation and accurate record-keeping of all medical procedures and treatments.
· Stay current with advances in emergency medicine and participate in continuous education opportunities.
· Work swing and overnight shifts.
Why Join Us?
· State-of-the-Art Equipment: Access to cutting-edge technology to support diagnostics and treatment.
· Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a dedicated, skilled team that values teamwork, communication, and mutual support.
· Mentorship: If you're newer to emergency care, you'll receive guidance and support to develop your skills in ER medicine.
· Great Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling options and a work environment that respects your time and personal life.
· Competitive Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary, health benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
· A Network of Support: Join a powerful network named one of Inc.'s Best Workplaces 2025!
