The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing human responses and implementing nursing care plans for individuals and families. They provide leadership in a professional practice setting, ensuring patient safety and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Candidates must possess a current PA RN license or multi-state licensure through the eNLC and CPR certification. Required clearances include Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 FBI fingerprinting.
The Registered Nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible. The Registered Nurse is fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered.
