The Certified Medical Technologist II performs routine and complex laboratory analyses while identifying and correcting technical problems. They are responsible for maintaining current knowledge of laboratory theory and exercising independent judgment in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Candidates must hold an associate degree in clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology, with a bachelor's degree preferred. A valid MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or MLT(ASCP) certification is required for the position.

The Certified Medical Technologist II performs routine and complex laboratory analyses, identifies and corrects problems developing alternatives when necessary, stays current in laboratory theory and technique, assumes responsibility for problem solving, and requires the exercise of independent judgment and interpretation.
