The nurse acts as a patient advocate, providing continuity of care through systematic assessments and the implementation of goal-directed care plans. They are responsible for managing patient needs across various age groups and responding efficiently to emergency situations.
Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited nursing program and a valid registered nurse license in the facility's state. A minimum of three years of experience as a staff nurse and current CPR/ACLS certification are required.
To act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the healthcare team and supporting the philosophy, objectives and goals of the facility. The Staff nurse will assess the needs of individual patients including but not limited to adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
