Resident Life Partners provide individualized, person-centered care through “quality-of-the-moment” programming. This approach focuses on the meaningful elements of everyday life, including socialization with friends, joy in accomplishment, and opportunities to share God’s tender mercy.

Work cooperatively with other team members to complete shared household responsibilities, such as making coffee and cleaning spills.
Help maintain the general care, cleanliness, and comfort of the cottage.
Use supplies and equipment responsibly and economically.
Activities and Quality of Life
Provide planned and spontaneous activities within a structured, calm environment.
Encourage socialization, participation, joy in accomplishment, and meaningful daily experiences.
Remain aware of and responsive to each resident’s current feelings, comfort, interests, and abilities.

Follow all policies and procedures of the residence and the Employee Handbook.
Complete all documentation requirements assigned by the Resident Life Coordinator.
Participate actively in orientation and training sessions.
Accept accountability for understanding and applying all information provided during orientation and training.
Ask questions and request clarification whenever instructions, expectations, or procedures are not completely clear or understood.
