Requires a current state dental license, CPR certification, and at least five years of full-time dental practice experience. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and the professional experience necessary to meet program goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Provides anesthesia for patient care when indicated
· Administers nitrous oxide when indicated
· Manages emergency medical procedures when necessary
· Monitors safety practices and infection control standards in the dental clinic.
· Authorizes and documents radiographs indicated for patient care.
· Authorizes dental hygiene treatment plan based on review of medical/dental history.
· Administers pharmaceutical medications when indicated for patient care.
· Performs other clinical duties as directed by the Director of Dental Hygiene.
· Maintains regular and reliable attendance. · Performs other duties as assigned.
