The Certified Medication Technician is responsible for performing daily medication passes and conducting initial intake screenings for new receptions. They also maintain medical records, prepare examination areas, and handle administrative tasks such as answering phones and filing.
Candidates must have completed an approved Certified Medication Technician program and hold a valid certification in the state of Maryland. The role requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, locked correctional facility environment.

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. (i.e., PCM) is a privately owned, physician-founded, nationally accredited correctional healthcare practice. We are actively recruiting for a Full-Time Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to work in the medical department at the Washington County Detention Center in Hagerstown, MD.
This full-time position is 36 hours per week. Shift would be 2 twelve-hour shifts and 2 eight-hour shifts a week, and the hours would be 11a-7p or 11a-11p.

Additional Compensation: In addition to the hourly pay rate PrimeCare Medical also offers Overtime Pay, Shift Differential and Weekend Differential compensation, Premium Holiday Pay, and Employee Referral Bonus opportunities.
(Please note that the pay range is not a sliding scale based on experience; it reflects the base pay as well as the differentials offered between shifts.)
