The Assistant Nurse Manager provides clinical supervision and expertise to staff while assisting with hiring, evaluations, and performance improvement. They also support the Nurse Manager in managing departmental budgets and facilitating patient-centered care.
Candidates must hold an ASN degree and a valid Florida nursing license, with a BSN preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an RN in an acute care setting is required.
The Assistant Nurse Manager serves as an adjunct to the Nurse Manager or Nursing Director by providing supervision and clinical expertise to staff in his/her assigned area. Assists the Nurse Manager in hiring and firing of nursing personnel, conducting periodic employee evaluations, orientation of new employees, and performance improvement activities. Assists the Nurse Manager in devising and managing the departmental budget(s). Facilitates positive customer service and patient-centered care on the nursing unit.
HOURS: M-F 3PM-11PM
Required Education: ASN from Accredited University/College. Preferred BSN

�BLS from the American Heart Association
Required Experience:3-5 years - Practicing RN in acute care.
