The Director of Programs oversees the development, implementation, and sustainability of programs serving teen mothers and early childhood education. This role leads the program team, manages budgets, and directs partnerships and volunteer efforts to ensure organizational goals are met.
Candidates must have at least two years of experience in direct-service program development and management, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. A bachelor's degree in nonprofit management or education and experience with at-risk populations are preferred.

Position Summary: The Director of Programs (DPr) is responsible for the development, direction, implementation, sustainability, and outcomes for Hope House Colorado (HHC) Programs. The DPr assesses needs, designs and strengthens programs, measures and evaluates effectiveness, and develops and manages the HHC Program budget and ELC Income. The DPr is responsible for overseeing the volunteer program, ensuring the organization's volunteer needs and goals are met. This role also directly oversees partnerships and leads program managers in growing partnerships to effectively serve teen moms. This role is responsible in maintaining an environment that attracts and retains high-level, professional program management staff, and leading and coaching that staff to effectively meet the mission, vision, and goals of the organization. The DPr is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and informs decision-making.

Empowering Teen Moms
Hope House provides free self-sufficiency programs to parenting teen moms in three key areas. The Empower Program provides opportunities for personal, educational and economic self-sufficiency for teen moms. This includes educational assistance through High School & GED and College & Career Programs. Additional supportive services include healthy relationships and personal growth classes, licensed counseling, legal advocacy and financial literacy. The Housing Support Program provides metro-Denver’s only Residential Program for teen moms, and additional housing supports through various partnerships. The Early Learning & School Age Program focuses on literacy and social-emotional development; early intervention services; and school-age supports for the children; and provides a Parenting Program for teen moms. All programs are designed to transform the lives of two generations at Hope House. Our Mission statement: Hope House Colorado empowers parenting teenage moms to strive for personal and economic self-sufficiency and to understand their significance in God’s sight, resulting in a healthy future for them, and for their children.
