The cashier is responsible for processing sales transactions accurately, promoting loyalty programs, and providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, the role involves maintaining store cleanliness, stocking merchandise, and ensuring compliance with alcohol sales regulations.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in a retail setting. The role requires the physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for 8-10 hours, and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by providing customers with fast and friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and ensure customers leave feeling positive about their visit. While both part-time and full-time positions generally focus on being a cashier, you may also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate. Internally, you will be referred to Front End Team Member and report to the store management team.
