We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first and last point of contact for many of our guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience.
The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will assist guests with check-in and check-out, answer questions, manage reservations, resolve concerns, and help ensure that every guest receives exceptional service throughout their stay.
Welcome guests in a warm, professional, and friendly manner.
Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
Confirm reservations, room assignments, payment details, and identification.
Respond to guest concerns and work quickly to resolve issues or involve management when necessary.
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, management, and other hotel departments.
Monitor room availability and update guest information in the hotel property management system.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
Follow hotel security, privacy, emergency, and safety procedures.
Document guest requests, incidents, maintenance concerns, and shift information accurately.
Assist with wake-up calls, package handling, lost-and-found inquiries, and other guest services.
Promote hotel programs, amenities, upgrades, and special offers when appropriate.
Support other front office and hotel operations as needed to help the team succeed.
Previous front desk, customer service, retail, or hospitality experience is preferred.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
Ability to remain calm and courteous when handling guest concerns.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy hotel environment.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn hotel reservation and property management systems.
Comfortable handling payments and maintaining accurate records.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to maintain guest confidentiality and follow hotel policies.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule.
Availability may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Occasional overnight shifts may be required based on hotel needs.
Ability to stand for extended periods during a scheduled shift.
Ability to perform repetitive computer and telephone tasks.
Ability to lift and carry light packages, supplies, or guest items as needed.
