The Madison Concourse Hotel is looking for a skilled and dependable PM Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working evening service, takes pride in preparing high-quality food, and works well as part of a busy, professional kitchen.
The ideal candidate has previous line cook experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized and focused during fast-paced service. Prior experience in a hotel, upscale restaurant, banquet, or high-volume kitchen is preferred.
Status: Full Time Typical Hours: 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with flexibility to work weekends and holidays Pay: Starting at $21 per hour, based on experience
What You’ll Do
Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and guest expectations.
Maintain consistency in flavor, quality, portioning, and presentation.
Work closely with the culinary team to support smooth and timely service during busy periods.
Set up, stock, and maintain the line before, during, and after service.
Follow food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and storage standards.
Assist with product rotation, freshness checks, inventory needs, and special dietary requests.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for the next shift.
Communicate professionally with cooks, chefs, stewards, and service team members.

Qualifications
Previous line cook experience required.
Hotel, upscale dining, banquet, or high-volume kitchen experience preferred.
Strong culinary skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen.
Ability to communicate well and work as part of a team.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Culinary education is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Ability to bend, reach, move quickly, and safely perform kitchen duties during service.
